A Unique Weekend at Carlow Lodge (Blair Castle), near Culross, Fife

Embark on a unique adventure with us at Carlow Lodge, also known as Blair Castle, nestled near Culross, Fife, for a special weekend retreat. Opt for the full weekend experience, encompassing both Friday and Saturday nights, or choose a one-night stay for Saturday only. This fully catered event promises an array of activities, detailed below:

Friday 25th October: Arrive early afternoon from 2 pm onwards. Upon registration, you'll be shown to your en-suite accommodation and parts of the property, setting the stage for the weekend. Later, you will be able to take part in one of our workshops starting from 3 pm (prior registration may be required).

After the workshops, an evening meal will be served, following which you can socialize with fellow attendees in the lounge. The bar, open until around 11 pm*, invites you to unwind, while the games room offers a chance to enjoy a round of pool, snooker, or darts. Throughout the evening, the property’s haunted hot spots will be monitored via CCTV, viewable on a lounge screen.

Saturday 26th October: Begin the day with a full cooked breakfast before engaging in morning activities like meditations and a visit to historic Culross. If you visit the palace you may meet a friend of the teams to show you round this haunted property. Return to Carlow Lodge for lunch, coinciding with the arrival of guests joining us for Saturday night (arrivals after 1 pm).

The afternoon features workshops led by field experts in private areas of the property (a small charge may apply for equipment building workshops).

After a buffet meal in the early evening, anticipate a Q&A session with your hosts and potentially a special guest.

As night falls, we'll delve into the paranormal investigation of the property. Technical experts John and Tracey White will oversee the surveillance, with live feeds available in the lounge.

Post-investigation, the property is yours to explore, or alternatively, relax in the lounge area, sharing experiences with fellow attendees, or retreat to your en-suite room for some rest.

Sunday 27th October: The weekend culminates with a full cooked breakfast, after which you're welcome to relax in the lounge, stroll through the gardens, or participate in additional workshops (subject to prior arrangement).

We aim to create a relaxed yet safe environment for all, whether you're new to the paranormal world or a seasoned enthusiast.

Accommodation: The weekend includes fully catered en-suite accommodation. Due to limited room availability, sharing in double, twin, or triple rooms is required. We encourage discussing room preferences with fellow guests in advance to inform us of your preferred room type and sharing arrangements. If uncertain, feel free to post in the chat.

• Full Weekend (25th – 27th October): Includes meals from Friday evening to Sunday breakfast, two nights' accommodation, workshop participation, and the paranormal investigation. Price: £239.99 per person.
• Saturday Night (26th – 27th October): Includes Saturday evening meal and Sunday breakfast, one night's accommodation, workshop participation, and the paranormal investigation. Price: £149.99 per person.

*Bar expenses are not included in the ticket price.
