Scottish Paranormal Investigates claims of paranormal phenomena, particularly alleged hauntings and, requests from people who are in need of our help to possiblyrelieve any undue stresses and fears they may have. Investigations are conducted in a logical manner with the emphasis on critical thinking and analysis while offering consultation without the pre-judgement. Bringing professionalism,personality and most of all confidentiality to all cases Investigated, Scottish Paranormal aim to keep the bar set high as representatives of the paranormal community operating in Scotland since 2004. All cases are subject to a full investigation that begins with an initial visit, then interview of witnesses, research of location and its history and finally equipment based sessions in the hope of re-creation of phenomena or further analysis of possible unexplainable occurrences.
We do not use clairvoyants, psychics or the sensitive approach in our cases and instead concentrate in providing the client with the facts as recorded by our investigators. In addition to the above Scottish Paranormal do not use methods such as table tipping, Dowsing Rods, Ouija Board or other tools that can be subject to interference from the subconscious or micro muscular movement.

What to expect from a Scottish Paranormal investigation.
Initial Contact:
Once you have contacted Scottish Paranormal we will listen carefully and then discuss the details regarding your case with you in the strictest of confidence.If you feel you would like us to visit you in your home or premisis we will happily make the nescessary arrangements that is convenient for you.When we arrive at your home or premisis we will try to make you feel at ease by introducing individual team members and have a little chat about your situation,usually no more than four key team members will attend if it is a private home visit.Our two Scottish Paranormal Founder members will then ask if they can be shown around the appropriate areas regarding reported activity to take notes.In doing this, we can then plan where we would like to place our equipment.Sometimes we may not need to use a full set-up of all our equipment…this depends on each individual case.

- Data Loggers (Room Temp recording devices)
- Digital Voice Recorders & Analogue Tape Recorder for Audio/EVP sessions
- EMF Meter (For initially locating Electro Magnetic Field)

- Sony Camcorders.( Night Vision)
- Target Experiments (Objects to be placed with relevance to the area being investigated)
- Digital Temperature Gauges(Recording Visual for static camcorder only)
The investigation:
Upon the completion of any Scottish Paranormal Protocol forms,we will go ahead and set-up our equipment and once we have done this we can relax and take our time. Investigations usually take no more than 3 hours (depending on size of location) and this includes set-up time. Obviously, if it is a large location we will need more time to set-up as we need to ensure our DVR system with infra-red cameras are in the best locations possible, giving the most advantageous coverage.With all details of the case taken into consideration we sometimes ask the client (you) to try some calling out but only if you feel comfortable with it, don`t worry we will guide you on what to say. If at any time you don`t feel comfortable we can stop and take a break. Most clients I find want to take part as they feel they may get more response to their voice rather than the investigators. Don`t worry if you do not want to it`s not a problem, we do fully understand.The Scottish Paranormal team will continue closely monitoring our equipment during the investigation.Later as our investigation comes to an end, we will pack up all our equipment leaving your premisis exactly as we found it,then reflect on the outcome of the investigation and you may ask us as many questions as you wish.We are here to help you to the best of our ability,knowledge,research and experience. We certainly do not claim to have all the answers to what may be happening to you or around you but, we will give it our best shot in order to ease any fears you may have.
Feedback & Report:
Once all information has been collected and reviewed by the Scottish Paranormal team,we will make our report/feedback which will be sent via normal post or delivered personally to you,which ever you prefer.This usually takes about two weeks, three at most.In the meantime, please do not hesitate to contact us if you feel you need talk to us again about anything that you are not sure of,we are available to help and support you in the best way we can.
